These terms cover your use of PDF Toys (operating at editfile.app). By using any tool on this site, you're agreeing to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

PDF Toys provides free, browser-based tools for editing, converting, and managing PDF and document files. The service is provided "as is," without any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Your files

You keep all rights to any file you upload — we don't claim any ownership over your content. By uploading a file, you confirm that you have the right to do so and to have it processed by this service (for example, that you own it, or have permission from whoever does).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to process.
• Try to disrupt the service, bypass its rate limits, or access it in a way not intended by its normal use.
• Upload malware or files intended to exploit or damage the service or its infrastructure.

Availability and changes

This is a free service, run without a guaranteed uptime or support commitment. We may change, limit, or discontinue any part of it — including individual tools — at any time, without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF Toys and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or files. Use the service at your own risk, and keep your own backup of anything important.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
